In the event 430 skaters from various parts of India have created a unique record by participat-ing and skating for continuous 72 hours!.

Pravara Central Public School celebrated its 2nd Establishment Day and Investiture ceremony.
The Head Boy and Head Girl ,Sr.& Jr. Prefects along with other officer bearers received their badges and took the oath. Mrs Neeti Bali, Director English Medium Schools, congratulated the office bearers and asked them to honour the responsibility and trust bestowed upon them and to be-come an example for the others to follow.
“Health Promoting Behavior" workshop at Pravara Central Public School
Centre for Social Medicine of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni conducted a workshop on Health Promot-ing Behavior in collaboration with under graduate students from Oregon State University and Washington State University for 56 students from IX-XII in PCPS on 12th August 2016.
The topics discussed were Health, Environment, Social Health and Importance of group activity.The students were divided into seven groups each with a mentor. The mentor asked the students to pen down their views on a chart paper. Students took great interest and discussed the issues with enthusiasm.A Quiz about awareness of health in our Country and on the global level was also conducted .Students were encouraged to ask questions, which the mentors answered with care and concern.
The facilitators of the workshop were Ms. Amelia Mohavir, Ms.Taylor Ching, Ms. Hannah Gabrielle Smith, Ms. Jasmine Hammerstad, Ms. Kelseyanne Alexander, Mr.Dang Duong and Ms.Lyndi-Rae Petty. The students remarked that it was an excellent workshop and they learnt a lot from it.
INTER SCHOOL SOLO SINGING COMPETITION AT PCPS
Inter School Solo Singing Competition was organized by Pravara Central Public School on 07 September, 2016 at the Gymnasium Hall. The competition was divided into three categories with 36 participants from the following schools: Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Sainik School, Pravara Public School, Pad-mashri Dr.Balasaheb Vikhe Patil International School, Pravara Girls English Medium School, Kolhar High School and Pravara Central Public School.
The competition was judged by talented and well acclaimed judges. Actor Mr. Dinesh Harishchan-dra Bane M.Com GDCA so also a Sangeet Visharad, spoke to the students and explained the necessity of facial expressions whilst singing and how and which song to select for a competition. The second Judge also a Sangeet Visharad, Mr.Amol Dattara Badak , spoke about nuances of music and sang a melodious number for the participants. The competition gave out a variety of songs, which kept the audience glued to their seats.
Pravara Central Public School won the trophy as it was judged the best amongst all the participating schools. Medals and certificates were awarded by the judges of the competition.
Pravara Central Public School Annual Day Celebrations
Pravara Central Public School celebrated its Annual Day on October 20 and 21 2016 at Gangubai Vikhe Patil Indoor Stadium. The celebrations began with paying homage to the founding father. Late Honourable Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. Mrs. Medha Bagool, principal of Pravara Central Public School addressed the audience and presented the annual school report highlighting the success of the school.
The Annual Day celebratory function was presided by Brigadier Akashdeep Bhanot, Commander, College of Armored Warfare,Ahmednagar on the second day. In his speech, he advised the students to improve their com-munication skills as it is the need of the day. He asked them to follow their dreams and excel in the fields they choose.
The children participated in the program with great enthusiasm and delivered exceptional performances. Bahu Ratna Vasundhara, the theme was appreciated by all. It gave out the social message of Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan, Save the girl child and Save Trees and Save Planet. The students performed with masterly finesse. The powada composed especially for the day was appreciated by all. It depicted the brilliant work done by the Founder Fa-ther Late Honourable Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. The Powada is a genre of Marathi poetry that emerged during the late 17th century in India. The powadas are a kind of ballad written in an exciting style and narrate historical events in an inspiring manner. The entire programme was produced and directed by the staff of the school.
